  • October Employee of the Month-Travis Rummel

At our monthly company meeting, Travis Rummel was recognized as the newest recipient of the Employee of the month award.  His coworkers recognized Travis for his work ethic, emerging as a leader for his peers, and for the quality workmanship he gives to each of his projects.

Travis has been with Halo for a year and a half. He started as one of our roofers working in the field.  He has branched out to carpentry in all areas of construction, and has become an asset to our production department. While working full time at Halo, Travis has started evening classes for a certification in Project Management.  Travis is dedicated to making himself a better person and has definitely become a more valuable employee in the process.

We are grateful to have Travis as part of the Halo Team. We look forward to his educational and career advancements!

  • Jeremy Hudson, September Employee of the Month!

Halo’s employee of the month for September is Jeremy Hudson.  I apologize for the delay in the blog post of his Accomplishment.

Jeremy was recognized by his peers for the drive he has shown while learning a new position as Project Manager as well as his willingness to help his coworkers.  Jeremy was hired in July as a first time Project Manager. He brought with him experience in the field as a carpenter and is using his knowledge and experience to excel in his new position.

We are all glad to have Jeremy here at Halo, we feel he makes a great addition to our team, and foresee a bright future for him.

But build a quality home in a week? Hutchinson honestly didn't think it could be done.

So when ABC's reality televison program "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" asked Hutchinson to help build a house in five days to benefit a Port Orchard family, he jumped at the chance.
